MEET THE FOUNDER
Sofia Paz is a trained business engineer and hospitality expert. Her career started in Central America, where she developed innovative supply and demand strategies for multiple companies in the sustainability sectors.
She relocated to Mexico in 2018, where she partook in the development of Tulum’s transformation. During her time in Tulum, she work alongside influential business partners, including Papaya Playa Project and Ahau Collection, two main pioneers, in creating the area’s unique lifestyle and hospitality approach. Sofia Paz participated in Tulum’s Hospitality Board and helped repositioning hospitality and leisure during the Great Pandemic while launching a luxury concierge company.
In 2023, Studios Paz expanded operations to La Antigua Guatemala, merging consulting, bespoke services, and engineering to introduce its property management division with an innovative approach. Today, the platform seamlessly connects Mexico’s Caribbean, Belize, and Guatemala, with continued expansion across Latin America.
